We’ve recently been appointed to support the proposed extension of a specialist residential home in Shropshire providing essential care for adults with severe learning difficulties and associated challenging behaviours.

With 1.2 million people in the UK living with a learning disability, 350,000 of whom have severe needs, there is a critical shortfall in suitable residential care placements, leading to long waiting times and increasing pressure on services. This extension will play a vital role in increasing capacity and ensuring more individuals receive the dedicated support they need in a safe, community-focused environment.

We’re looking forward to working with Herefordshire Council through the pre-application process and developing a scheme that meets both the needs of the residents and planning requirements.
